Lodging during ICCCR 2008

The Vallelunga circuit is located about 50 km far from the Roma downtown, 8 km from the exit of Via Cassia highway. It is possible to stay in Roma or to stay around Vallelunga. On May 11, we made a tour around Vallelunga in order to find a possible place to stay in the night. There are three solutions: camping, bed & breakfast, hotels.

Campings: apart the camping inside the Circuit, there are campings on the Bracciano lake , located at 10-20 km far from Vallelunga, most of them have the beach on the lake with the usual structures typical of the sea. You can find them on the web.

B & B: the b & b are similar to the Gites in France; usually have 2-3 rooms; they are located usually on the hills around the Lago di Bracciano. We have had no time to visit them but it is possible to find them (with details) on the web :for example  www.infoviterbo.it – www.bbitalia.it etc.

Hotels: we have searched good hotels as much as possible close to the Circuit.

Excluding the PitStop hotel on the Circuit, other interesting hotels are located at a distance of 10-15 km far, most of them around the Lago di Bracciano.

16 km far, to be reached after 2 km of gravel road, completely inside the hills, annexed to a horse center 31 rooms, very quite and silent.

18 km far, inside the Anguillara town, on the long-lake street, structure not new, has an inside parking behind the hotel.

 16 km far, the place with most number of rooms, New structure. Annexed with a sports center. It is 1.5 km outside Anguillara town, the parking is not private but  the street has very low traffic.

 21 km far, located in the new part of Anguillara (so that not on the lake). New structure, with annexed restaurant, has a parking on the street and a covered parking

 25 km far. Located on the beach, some km after Anguillara, New structure. Usually booked by AUDI team during tourism race at the Circuit. Actually the Hotel is booked by a travel agency for ICCCR but to be verified by calling the hotel. Private parking.

13 km far, New Residence in the Trevignano town with private parking. Possible to book only from the end of July.

12 km far, located on the Via Cassia, few km before the Cassia highway Vallelunga exit. Hotel American style (parking in front of each room). Rooms maximum for 2 persons.

The road from Vallelunga to Anguillara or Trevignano is a winding road, up and down, inside the trees, medium width, easy to drive, not road lights tonight. Anguilara and Trevignano towns are small towns, for tourism during summertime due to the presence of lake of Bracciano.
